About

Grace Hinchen is an Australian-born fine-art photographer based in Sag Harbor, New York, a small yet popular coastal village in the Hamptons on Long Island. Often shooting with film for its nostalgic and retro properties, Grace’s style is relaxed and unpretentious, capturing that coastal living vibe. Grace also uses Nikon, Leica, and Hasselblad digital cameras and drones for large format printing and action sequence subjects. Whether shooting yacht races, or catching sun worship moments, Grace’s portfolio is never staged and invites you to join the frame and see yourself amongst the natural beauty.

About the Printing and Framing:

Each print is signed by Grace in the lower right corner. All frames are hand-made of wood, and available in three styles - natural oak, white or black finish. Frames are presented in a modern shadow box format, with ⅜ to ¼ inch spacing between the glass and archival dry mounted photographs. Small prints include a one-inch white border, while all other sizes feature a two-inch white border around the image, offering space to breathe and enhancing the visual presence once framed.

The combination of wood frame frames in the shadow box style with matless photographs offer a gallery style that is both modern and timeless. Every piece is delivered ready to hang, with pre-attached hanging hardware included.

Framing is mindful of conservation and composition. Each print is dry-mounted to an acid-free foam board, backed with coroplast, and fully sealed for long-term protection. We use Conservation Clear glass to prevent UV damage and fading, and the spacers tin the shadow box format ensure the print never touches the glass, preserving the integrity of the print.

Every Grace Hinchen photo is printed on Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta Satin, a 300gsm natural white paper made from 100% alpha-cellulose. Its subtle texture, smooth base, and absence of optical brighteners create a timeless surface—rich in tone, soft in feel, and archival by design.
