How to Care for Your Framed Piece

Each Grace Hinchen frame is handmade to order, crafted from oak and poplar wood which is finished in white or black with a hand-painted touch. We use TruVue Conservation Clear Glass, which blocks up to 99% of UV rays. Its 2.5mm thickness ensures strength and rigidity, while the clear surface avoids ripples or distortion, protecting and preserving your print for years to come.

Cleaning the Glass
For the glass, TruVue recommends using a microfiber cloth. Lightly mist the cloth with an ammonia-free cleaner (never spray directly on the glass) and wipe in gentle, circular motions to prevent streaks.

Dusting the Frame
Frames may be dusted with a clean microfiber or feather duster. Avoid using sprays, water, or polish, which can damage the hand-painted finish.

Handling
Always lift your frame with two hands, supporting it from the sides rather than the top edge or hanging hardware. Clean, dry hands - or cotton gloves - help prevent fingerprints or oils from transferring to the frame and glass.

With the right care, your framed piece will remain a lasting part of your collection, preserving both the art and the story it holds.
